She continues the interview

Vanessa sighed and quickly removed her shirt. She took a towel and dried her face and cleavage. She looked at her bra. It had suspicious looking white stains on it that stayed on even when she tried to clean it with the towel. Oh well. Nobody would see her bra once she got a replacement shirt.

Tom returned with a navy blue shirt and a pair of black pants. He handed the uniform to Vanessa who was covering herself using the towel, and said "Take the pants as well. We might as well see how you look in the full uniform. Sadly the sizes are a bit on the small side for you. We'll get you the proper size once I end up hiring you." Vanessa perked up. Tom had said "once he hires you", not "if". Was he really considering her, even though she had been nothing but a klutz so far? Was he going to give her a chance? She wanted to cry with joy.

"I'll leave you to change", Tom said and left the back room. Vanessa put on the pants and covered herself with the shirt. They were tight on her, but at least they were dry unlike her current ones. She looked at her reflection in the mirror. The pants were even tighter around the buttocks than her own, and the shirt was so small that she had to leave the top button open again. Was this really what the baristas in this café were supposed to wear?

Tom returned after a few minutes. He smiled at Vanessa. "How do you like the uniform?" he asked.

"It's tight", Vanessa said.

"But at least it's dry. I can already see that you would fit the image of our café nicely, once we find you the perfect fit", Tom said. "So, are you ready to continue your interview?"

"I am", Vanessa said with excitement, and followed Tom out of the room.

They walked out of the back room and into the service area.

"We have a wide variety of types of coffees and teas", Tom said, gesturing to the long menus on the wall. "If we hire you, you'll have to be able to memorize the menus so you can recommend drinks to customers. Let's see how well you do with that." He then handed Vanessa a paper menu and asked her to spend a few minutes trying to memorize as much of it as possible.

Vanessa sat down on a stool at the counter and closed her eyes. She could feel her pulse quickening. She was definitely getting hired! She had a good feeling about this job. Memorizing things was much more up her alley, and she was already familiar with many of them. (Although she noted Tom had gone back to using "if"). She memorized the drink menu quickly and handed it back to Tom.

Tom quizzed Vanessa for a bit and finally said "Very good. You have great potential. You'll have to work hard, but I think you'll do well"

"One final part of working as a barista is engaging with the customers. Go ahead and collect some empty dishes from the tables. Remember to smile and ask them if they're done, OK?", he said.

"OK", Vanessa said.

Tom gestured to a table near the entrance. "Start from there. Also, greet anyone if they enter. I'll observe how you do from here", Tom said with a smile.

Vanessa nodded and got up from the counter. Tom observed her curvy ass when she walked away from him. He observed her long cleavage and slight sway as she bent down to pick up the empty dishes. Tom noticed some of the male patrons doing the same. "Yes", he muttered to himself, "she will do good for the business."
