Bad news at work

Emmy showed up to work. When she entered the coffee shop, which was about to open, she saw all her boss and the owner Mr. Kyles standing there waiting for her.

"Emmy! I'm glad you could make it early." He said.

"What's up? Emmy asked, setting down her purse.

"I just want to tell you that... well, we might be going out of business." Mr. Kyles said sadly.

"What?!?!" Emmy exclaimed. "But... but I need this job!"

It was true. Emmy had recently discovered credit cards, and that plus her student loans had ended up being a mountain of debt. If she missed one more month of payments she'd loose her car, her house and more!

"I know." Mr. Kyles replied. "That's why I'm hoping you'll help me with one last desperate gambit to increase sales."

"Yes! Anything!" Emmy exclaimed.
