Big Girl

Stephanie wore a pink-t-shirt, a grey hoodie, a pair of jeans with worn knees and a pair of flip-flops.

Playing the role of "baby" and their "caregiver" was the norm in town, but it wasn't by law. Stephanie's family had moved into town for reasons outside of the lifestyle and Stephanie never really took to it.

Stephanie had shared her life with classmates who wore diapers long after she was potty trained. She didn't wear baby clothes or suck on binkies or sleep in a crib. While it made her somewhat out of place among her peers, she had since grown accustomed to being the "grown-up" in the room. Sure she had tried being a baby, having borrowed diapers from the occasional sleepover with her friends, but she never got comfortable enough with it to do it on a regular basis.

Then of course she started to date Paulette during high school. Paulette was one of the most desirable girls in her age group. Not only was Stephanie not a baby like the cooler kids, but she wasn't that attractive. Or at least she didn't think so. She was short and her hair would never straighten and her glasses made her eyes look too big.

But Paulette liked her anyway. She thought she was pretty. Pretty enough to kiss anyway.
