Moving day

And so, a mere week later, Lauren was moving back into her mother's house with her family. What a step backwards! Lauren never thought she'd have to move back in with her parents like some sort of failure, but here she was. All of Lauren's possessions were brought in a Uhaul (her mother said she was putting the cost of which on 'Lauren's tab') and the whole family was unloading them. Lauren had wanted to bring her stuff into her old bedroom where she'd be staying, but her mother insisted there would be no room and that it go straight to the basement.

Lauren was hauling boxes down to the basement with her mother, step father, sister and step brother. She was dressed as she always did, in designer clothes, heels, a padded bra and Spanx.

"I don't know who you think you're fooling," Her mother grumbled, rolling her eyes.

"Yeah, we've all seen the photos of what you really look like!" Her sister Vanessa pointed out.

"And the Videos!" Her stepbrother Daryl agreed.

Lauren could do nothing but blush and try to ignore them. So far, this move was off to a great start, she thought bitterly...
