She's got some good friends looking out for her

As the song came to an end, Blake turned to Ruby, intending to tell her that she was gonna go find Yang, and that Weiss was heading to the drinks table again. But that thought fled her mind as she took in the sight of her friend topless and sweat glistening on her breasts. Feeling her face flush, Blake quickly dashed towards Ruby.

"Ruby, what happened to your top?" Blake murmured in her ear as way of greeting, angling herself to block people's view of Ruby. There was a musky scent coming off of Ruby that set something aflame in Blake's chest, but she quickly pushed it away, focusing on protecting her friend. Ruby tilted her head quizzically, and reached for her chest.

"What are you talking about, Blake? Did it fall down again?" Ruby said, as she grabbed a handful of bare boob. With a squeak, she glanced down and confirmed that yes indeed, her top was gone. Clutching her chest, Ruby frantically scanned the immediate area for the corset, but couldn't see it. Blake looked around as well, but staying planted in one spot to shield Ruby meant she was pretty limited in usefulness for looking for stuff. Finally, they both had to admit defeat, and still holding her chest, Ruby made her way off the dance floor, Blake helping ward off the crowd. As they approached Weiss by the drinks table, she flushed crimson again.

"Ruby, what the-" she began, but with the combined reprimand of Blake and Ruby that it fell off, she shut up. She sighed, and took up a post on one side of Ruby, with the Blake on the other side to complete the cover. To any onlookers, it appeared like the three of them were in a very close discussion with each other, huddling to be heard over the music.

"What am I gonna do? I can't walk around with my boobs out," Ruby lamented, hanging her head. Blake and Weiss shared a look over her head, and separately began formulating a plan. Blake's involved utilizing Weiss's semblance to hold people back, creating a corridor for Ruby to speed off down to the doors to hide in the dorm. But when she voiced it, Ruby shot it down, with an insistence to stay and party with everyone.

"Well, you could always use your skirt as a top, and tie the cape around your waist," Weiss offered.
