Gabriel

Dana turned around to find a face that looked familiar to her. She looked at him (or was it her?), racking her brain for his name. Memories started to surface in her mind .

She looked at his clothes to jog her memory, and suddenly became very aware of her naked state. A feeling of embarrassment washed over her - and that did the trick. Her memories came flooding back - the restaurant, the mysterious man, Amanda, the waiter - wait, that was it!

"Gabriel!", she squeaked. "What are you doing here? Wait, where am I? What's happening?" She frantically tried to cover herself with her hands.

"I'll try to explain as briefly as possible. What's the last thing you remember?", asked Gabriel.

Dana tried to recall the events that led up to her current predicament. She remembered Amanda's confrontation with the devil, and relayed that to Gabriel.

"Right. Well, long story short - after he captured both you and Amanda, the Prince of Darkness used your combined power to make himself more powerful than he had ever been. First he took over Acropolis, then the government - for all intents and purposes, he's running the show on Earth now."

That can't be good, thought Dana. She felt a pang of guilt - Amanda got captured while trying to rescue her. She remembered standing there, frozen and helpless as Amanda's clothes had vanished - piece by piece. Her resistance had soon followed. If only she could have done something...

Gabriel saw her sad expression, and said "What's happened has happened. There is still some hope, so don't give up." Dana still had a lot of questions burning in her mind, but Gabriel interjected "I'll explain things later. We must focus on the now - and that means getting you out of here."

"What do you mean, out of here? Where am I?", she asked.

Gabriel let out a slight smile. "Well, you are essentially in a spell that dulls all your senses and keeps you in a kind of stasis. The only way to break free is to overload it - by supplying your body with an overwhelming amount of stimulus."

Dana felt blood rush to her cheeks. "And how are you going to do that?", she asked, her voice barely a whisper.

"In the real world, I'm currently standing over you. You just need to trust me.", said Gabriel, moving closer.
