First step

Marley POV

It's really been a while since I have been outside of the mansion I think it is mostly due to the fact that I wasn't really ready to face reality after my divorce but what didn't help was the cute neighbor boy who invited me to live with him and one of the largest harems in the neighborhood spoiling me with options of various sexy girls from other worlds but I can't keep ignoring real life at least that is what Harley told me.

So in a effort to take the first step I decided to spend some time out of the house and look around town maybe find something to occupy myself with and start to deal with problems that I have been ignoring like the calls from my family after the potter hulk attack and Eddie's trial.

As I said to myself before according to Harley I needed to first deal with and accept the fact that I am now divorced and the first step is acknowledging that fact by announcing this to my family as they were my safe place people who I could be myself around apparently Antonio doesn't count because he has been enabling my seclusion so here I am at the Iceberg lounge where I am supposed to meet up with my parents and my brother.

Penguin led me to the room I specially had reserved I don't know how long I waited because I was so nervous but it couldn't have been more than 20 minutes before they arrived I worried what they would think of me but the looks on their faces said all I needed to know I could see the worry and concern in their eyes.

Dad: Hey sweetie pie we're glad you finally decided to reach out to us...

Mom: Herbert! I just said not to bring that up!

Marley: It's fine mom besides dad is right it's been some time since we've last spoke. Hey Ryan long time no see

Ryan: Hey Marley how have you been?

Marley: I've been doing alright

Ryan: But how are you?

Marley: Honestly? I'm not sure... at first I was devastated when Eddie cheated on me then angry now that we're divorced I don't know

Mom: Eddie cheated on you!?!

Dad: I always knew that he wasn't good enough for you!

Ryan: Why didn't you come to us for help? We're your family we will always be here for you

Marley: I felt ashamed like that this was somehow my fault I know in my mind that it wasn't true but in my heart... I wasn't ready to face it then I met Anto... not important because I got through most of it

Dad: You have nothing to be ashamed of and no matter what happens in your life we will always be here for you

Marley: Thanks dad I really needed to hear that (wiping a tear away)

Mom: So who is this not important fellow?

Marley: Mom leave it alone I'm not even sure that there is anything there yet

Mom: Ooooh so you want there to be something?

Marley: Mom!

The of the conversation was them updating about what I missed out on while I was away after which dad insisted on paying the bill and offered to drive me home but I was ready to tell them I was living with Antonio and it was directly across the street from where Eddie used to be.

As soon as I enter inside I saw all the girls either passed out or doing the macarena and singing the song it seems that the least athletic girls were unconscious while the rest continued their silly dance as this wasn't really my problem I could just ignore it but my conscience got the best of me so I looked around a bit and found a note from someone named James.
