Checking out the Cabin

"Come on let's check out the place," Ken followed her in.

Their room was smaller than Amy expected, only containing a king sized bed with a matching nightstand between them. There was a small bathroom attached to it. "I thought you said you requested two beds," she looked over at Ken confused. He looked at the bed and gulped audibly.

"Fuck, It's okay, I'll just take the extra blanket and crash on the floor," he quickly pulled a blanket out of the closet and laid it on the ground. Amy looked at him suspiciously.

"Alright I'm going to get ready for this evening," she grabbed her makeup bag and her dress for the evening and headed into the bathroom.

John texted Ken, asking him how things were going.

"Everything’s all right, we just ran into my high school bully Paul, Amy wasn't a fan," Ken texted back, "She was pretty fed up with his whole vibe."

"Yeah well I think Paul deserves it for always picking on you, especially during high school," John responded back, Ken had told him stories of this guy and he seemed to be a real asshole. John was happy Amy was there to stick up for Ken.
