All felt like a fever dream.

I was trying to comprehend this artifact, still stunned by how it worked.

I didn't really know a lot about magic, but from the little things I knew, there were no Beguiling Points, or whatever, involved. I overheard Jenn talking about spell slots, or memory slots, once. Was this something similar?

Whatever theese BS were, they were tied to the artifact. Maybe they functioned like wand charges?

It didn't really matter.

If this artifact really worked the way it was written, then with its use we probably had a chance to actually gain the money to set Katnia's debt.

I just needed to run some tests, and find some way to generate BS fast.

Sexual acts...

I don't see why not. It's not like mages or vampires or whatever use their magic always for good. I could have some fun with this thing as long as I did it for an actual purpose.

I was the cause of all this mess... If I hadn't used it earlier, it would all have escalated to a fight between Kat and the thugs...

So I should be the one to fix things!

Plus I did use it on Katnia already, without her permission.

Well... it was an accident. But I did do it nonetheless.

And so there was no other way if not for me to use it (Except all the morally good ways that would end up with me beaten up, poor or straight up dead).

I was in a loophole and the only path was forward!
