Jill loses

With a sigh, Jill accepted her fate and began to unlace her sneakers one by one. Once untied, she took off her sneakers one by one and placed them with the boys' coins. They now for the first time had a good view because of slender socked feet.

"I'll start." Jim said as he ran his hand over the cards. "Hmm..I'll take this one. To keep things exciting, shall we turn over the cards at once?"

"Good idea," Rick replied as he drew a card. Finally, Jill drew a card. Because of the markings on the cards, the boys already knew what was going to happen, but she just played along.

"On three," said Jill, "One...two...three." Jill's eyes widened. Jim had a king, Rick a queen and she had a 4.

"Oh no...not again." cried Jill. "Oh Jill, thank you for your new sneakers. I just hope you stop playing." said Jim
