"So what's the deal with that shard?" Gwen asked Madame Web.

"My visions are still clouded in darkness, but I believe this is a very small part of a multiversal 'heart'. If that is indeed the case, then it explains the threads of our reality are coming undone," Madame Web explained.

"A 'multiversal heart'? Someone care to explain what that is?" Felicia asked.

"The theory is that it's a core of a multiverse, born from its prime reality," Gwen explained. "Its influence spreads throughout the other realities born in that multiverse."

Felicia nodded in understanding. "I think I get it... man, alternate reality science is a trip."

Madame Web confirmed Gwen's explanation and continued, "If it is indeed part of our multiverse's heart, I fear something may be causing it to fall apart. If the heart were to wither and die, even I don't know what would happen to the multiverse..."

"...I'm guessing it'd be something pretty awful," MJ said. "So, what do we do now? Can that shard help us?"

"I believe it already is. The shard is providing me with visions of other champions who will have a role to play in your journey. In addition, the more of the heart we collect, the clearer my visions will become."

"Collect the shards, find other champions. Finally, a clear goal," Felicia sighed in relief. "I was getting sick of chasing around vague bullshit."

"What about my Kara? Please tell me we're getting closer to her," Cindy interjected. She knew how important all this was, but finding Kara still mattered more than anything to her.

"She was in my visions," Madame Web confirmed. "I am certain she is one of the champions meant to join you. There are still obstacles in your way, but should you clear them, you will see her again..."

Cindy dropped to her knees and began crying. Less than a month ago, she was sure she'd never see the woman she loved again. Now, she was closer than ever to finding her.

"...she's out there, Cindy Moon. And she's looking for you, too," Madame Web continued.

"She's trying to find me... I knew it..." Cindy whimpered, still sobbing.

"We'll find her soon," MJ said, placing a hand on Cindy's shoulder. "Anything you need from us, just say the word."

"What MJ said," Felicia added, grabbing hold of Cindy's hand and helping her to her feet. "Whatever you've got to do to find Kara, we've got your back."

"I can't wait to meet Kara," Gwen added with a reassuring smile.

Cindy pulled the three wives in for an emotional group hug. Consciously, she'd been so focused on finding Kara that she hadn't realized how close she had gotten to them. "Thank you... all of you. I...I'm so lucky to have you as teammates... friends..."

"Yeah, yeah. Enough with all the warm fuzzy friendship crap," Felicia teased with a warm smile. "We love you too."

"All right, then -- where do we go next?" MJ asked Madame Web.

"You will be handling this next task on your own, Mary Jane. You will be meeting champions from my visions, one of your dimensional counterparts among them. Another of your counterparts has found her way to that Mary Jane's universe, looking to aid in undoing the Web of Destiny. You must investigate this traveller -- she may provide valuable information about the true multiversal threat we face."

"Um, OK. How long do you think that'll take?" MJ asked, not thrilled about having to split from her group.

"I forsee it being several weeks at the most," Madame Web answered. "You will not be away from your wives long."

"All right then... Gwen, Felicia, I guess I'll see you in a few weeks. Love you both," MJ said, kissing her wives as they said their "I love yous" back.

"Just a quick question, loves... if my symbiote needs to, uh--"

"--I'm cool with it," Gwen reassured MJ. This particular Mary Jane had bonded to a symbiote that had been altered by Oscorp -- instead of feeding off of phenethylamine, it fed off of oxytocin and dopamine -- and the symbiote's favorite way of getting them was through MJ's orgasms. As a result, MJ had an extremely high sex drive, one that Gwen and Felicia were all too happy to satisfy -- it also meant that MJ's symbiote didn't have to eat brains to survive, much to MJ's relief.

"Me too," Felicia added. "But if you do have sex with someone else, you know I'm gonna want to hear every detail."

MJ smiled lovingly at her wives. "You two are the best. All right, I'd better get going. See you all soon -- and Cindy, I know you'll find your Kara," she said as she teleported from the nexus.

It was a typical evening for Kori & MJ, curled up together on the couch in the nude as they eagerly made out. Moans and giggles filled the air as their hands and lips explored each other's bodies -- the couple never got tired of enjoying one another's affections or discussing their lesbian desires and crushes. They rarely wore clothes around their apartment, whether they were alone, together, or with other lovers (who happily enjoyed being just as naked their hosts).

Still, that didn't make it any less awkward when a woman appeared out of thin air in their apartment, literally dropping in as she landed on top the couple.

"Ugh. Interdimensional travel never gets... any... easier."

A look of shock crossed the face of the MJ who just appeared as she realized she was lying on top of two nude women. The two women turned and looked at the woman who had mysteriously appeared, and their eyes went just as wide as hers were.

The dimensional traveler's face immediately turned bright red as she looked at the couple underneath her, immediately recognizing them -- one was a woman she'd met a different version of in another reality, and the other was, well, her. Obviously, they were together in this universe, as well.

"Uh... hi?"
