See Mr. Clark

The trip home was mostly uneventful, with the notable exception of ill fitting clothes and cat calls. As he walked though he started wondering at the possibility of a new life. He felt comfortable with his body and he had to admit the previous night had made him feel sexy.

William was in the middle of a day dreaming as he walked down the hall to his apartment door he. Just as he reached the door Mr. Clark stepped around the corner at the end of the hall.

"Why hello there young lady, I don't think we've met. May I have your name?"

"Uh..."

"Forgive me, I should introduce myself first. I am Edison Clark," He thrust his hand forward, "I own the building. Are you here to see William?"

"I..."

"Ah of course you are, your hand is on his doorknob after all. I am also here to see him, for rent you see,"

"Mr. Clark I..."

"Please, you may call me Edison. Only my troublesome tenants have to be so formal with me. Oh, but I am being rude, you must be tired after such early travels. Perhaps we could go inside and get better acquainted while I collect William's rent. How did you say you know him again?"

"Oh, I... I'm his sister, but William isn't home. So I don't think it would be appropriate to be alone with you in his apartment, but he did say that I should give you something from him if you came by before he came back,"

"Nonsense, I am a married man and I own the building remember. Of course it would be appropriate for me to sit and talk with my tenant's sister. It might be somewhat troublesome if you made me stay out here alone, but that is your choice,"
