Samantha tried to spend more time with John

Surprisingly, John was free on Saturday more so than he's been as of late. Samantha spent the morning out with John at a fancy brunch place. The perks of John working more was him having more cash to spend, so he splurged on the both of them.

"Oh John, are you sure? I'm happy to order something else." Samantha said, concerned for their finances.

Samantha realised she should probably check their accounts more often. She had been busy as of late and getting home later. Though she pushed the thought to the back of her mind, the reason was obviously Nate. She tried her best to not think about Nate and their time together as she mustered the effort to focus on John.

"So how's work been?" John asked genuinely.

"Oh work's been pretty normal. Kinda on cruise now after a couple of weeks. The boys seem to like me and their good students too."

"Ah yep fair enough. Has it been the marking that has been keeping you at school a bit?" He asked.

Samantha felt a little nervous from the question. It obviously wasn't the marking keeping her, but John hadn't been greeting her every time she comes back. She hoped that fact would help her retain her image.

"Yeah and just helping some students out after school too. Makes my job easier in the long run as they won't ask as many questions in class ya know?" Samantha said trying her best to remain confident.

"Fair enough. I suppose I can't talk. Been staying late myself too." John said with a bit of a chuckle.

For the first time though, Samantha didn't ask about it or urge him to spend more time with him. Subconsciously, she might not have wanted him to have the weekday evenings free anymore. She felt a sick lust lying to her husband about her after school activities, and she didn't want them to stop. Though that's not something she'd admit.

They relaxed for the rest of the day with John going to bed without much fuss. Samantha stayed up extra long really contemplating how much she was lying to John, and, turning herself on in the process. As she was browsing her phone it lit up with a message which she checked lazily.

"Hi Mrs Rogers. How was your Saturday :P"

"Hi Nate. Good thanks how was yours?"

She got a message back in response.

"Yeah not back thanks. I got a favour to ask of you. I'm gonna be going on an overnight hiking trip tomorrow and was gonna download some porn for the road so to speak haha. Then I thought, I'd ask my favourite teacher to help out with some material lol. Reckon you can help? ;)"

She was taken aback by the request at first but then scoffed a little as it wasn't really that strange of a request compared to what they had been doing after school.
