8am on a school day! she is late!

Chloe looked at her phone and saw she was extremely late for school! Chloe really did not want to be late so she got up and ran to the front door, she slipped her shoes on and began running down the road to school, it was about a 20 minute walk but Chloe was running as fast as her heavy chest would let her, the run there was pretty uneventful other than 2 things Chloe noted, firstly it was pretty cold today which was strange since it was summer, and secondly she was being stared at by almost every person she ran past.. did they know she was late? Chloe felt ashamed at herself for oversleeping, she had clearly set her alarm clock wrong the night before.. how could she be this careless?

Chloe finally arrived at collage and entered through the main door, she then noticed she forgot her back and keys so she could not open her locker.. "at least I am here finally.. I don't want to be more late than I already am" Chloe thought to herself and headed towards her class, once she reached the door she turned the handle and stepped inside, the entire class suddenly turned to look at her..
