Rich person’s request

Becky grinned as she saw a request from a notorious rich couple who lived in a mansion down the street. They had an 18-year old daughter who needed to be watched while her parents went away for a summer vacation. They’d be gone for 4 months leaving her completely on her own.

Becky immediately accepted it and reviewed the larger details as she headed for the house. It wasn’t long before she rolled down the window and hit the gate buzzer. “Hello, I’m here for the babysitting gig. I’m Rebecca Roberts.”

“Thank you, please pull inside,” a man said.

The gate opened up and Becky pulled inside. She saw an older man and a young woman waiting at the door. “Hello, it’s nice to meet you,” Becky said.

“Now since Emily is 18, she can take care of herself. She doesn’t need much maintenance,” the woman said. “Just make sure to cook her meals, make sure she’s bathing properly, and make sure to change her sheets as well. Most of this job will just be watching the house and making sure everything is in order.”

“But if you have any issues, please call us,” the man said.

Becky nodded. “Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Woods,” she said and headed inside.

She saw a brunette girl about 5’4” sitting on the couch. She smiled and said. “Hi, I’m Emily. You must be the house sitter my parents hired.”

“Rebecca,” Becky said. “But you can call me Becca or Becky. Either one works.”

“Cool,” Emily said. “Well, I have an early morning tomorrow. So I’m going to head to bed. I’ll see you later.”
