My best friend

My best friend, Kelly, has lived with me for a few years. She’s had quite a tough life. Her family kicked her out when she turned 16, she doesn’t have anyone else in her life really. And that’s why she’s the best person to try this on. It sounds horrible but there’s another advantage to trying this with her, she has a number of mental health problems (all of which are diagnosed) and some of them mean that she is overly paranoid and believes in things that simply aren’t true, like that she’s being stalked or something. And like I said, it’s horrible, but it does mean that if she suspects something, it’s unlikely anyone’s going to believe her judgement over mine.

She moved in with me when she got kicked out and I’ve been looking after her ever since. She’s not able to work because of her mental health issues so she’s dependent on me.

I’ve also always had fantasies of having these kinds of powers.

I decide to call in sick to work so that I have the whole day to experiment with this. And I’m excited to get started.
