The rip grows

Lauren hurriedly began climbing downwards, trying to keep ahead of the others. She did NOT want them to know her pants had just split! She started hurrying downwards as fast as she could.

Unfortunately, after a few more yards of descent, she heard another ripping sound. She looked over her shoulder. Oh god, the rip in her shorts was growing! Every movement strained the split and caused it to grow. But, what choice did she have but to climb? SHe looked up. Oh no, the others were catching up to her! Beverly, who was proving to be quite the climber, Lauren cursed, was leading the group and would reach Lauren soon!
