Party, but you get lunch first

Why not go? Last night was rough but if that was just the beginning, the college will be amazing with her as your girlfriend, or mistress. You're not quite sure.

You head back to your own dorm for the first time since orientation. You have yet to meet your roommate, the door tag identifies him as Kevin though. You've talked online and you know he's the manager of another team but with all of the last minute shuffling it's hard to say which team he ended up on. He's not there when you first arrive so the mystery will remain.

You grab a shower in your suite style bathroom and come on feeling fresh. Just after you finish changing Kevin comes in. Kevin is a tall black guy. He played Power Forward for his high school basketball team but wasn't good enough to get a D1 scholarship, but was able to apply for the team manager position. He got the basketball team assignment that he was supposed to get, but he was surprised to learn that he has split time between the men's and women's team. He shared your outrage about you getting switched teams, but also seemed a bit jealous that you were going to be working for the cheerleaders.

"How many freshmen are there? Are they hot? Do you see them often?" he asks rapidly.

"I don't know exactly how many yet. And yes" you blush slightly but he doesn't seem to notice and just says "nice."

You work together to arrange your dorm in an agreeable fashion and get along pretty well. You agree to grab lunch together. You go to the dinning center and it's basically empty as most of the other students haven't arrived yet as it's still just RAs and the athletes. You see Amber and Elsie sitting with some other athletes, but Kevin already grabbed a table elsewhere so you join him.

You make normal small talk and he asks if you want to see the newest Marvel movie in the theaters. You tell him you have got invited to the party and his jaw drops. "You got invited to the Triple Pi party! That's legendary man. I've heard that's the party to beat all parties! Can I come too?"

You're not quite sure if you can bring a guest yourself. Fortunately a voice answers behind you

"Oh you better come too." and you turn to see Elsie behind you. She joins your table and introduces herself

"Elsie Reynolds, cheerleader currently single but looking," she says flirtatiously to Kevin.

"Oh...I'm Kevin. Uh...basketball manager." He says, a bit taken aback by her candor but her recovers quickly. The three of you talk until Elsie excuses herself to go shopping with some of the other girls. She makes Kevin promise to look for her at the party and before you can warn him he eagerly agrees. A departing glare from her to you goes unnoticed by a smiling Kevin who is in dreamland but the intent is clear to you.

Don't warn Kevin.

Elsie leaves and the two of you return to the dorm prior to the party and play some video games. Elsie promised there would be pizza (and drinks, shhhh) at the party so you two skip dinner and get ready.

But the lunchtime conversation has been eating away at you. Maybe you should warn Kevin about the party. Or at least Elsie's intent. What do you do?
