Epilogue [Emma's POV]

Emma was awash with confidence. She had learned so much from John, that she was ready to blow her boyfriend's mind. Her parents were both away for the night, so she messaged for him to come over.

He replied, "yeah, we need to talk".

It would be more than talk, she thought.

When he walked in, Emma immediately pressed herself up against him.

"Emma, can we just talk?"

"Sure, we can talk," she said as she ran her hand along his crotch.

"Please just sit down, okay?"

"Oh come on... how about we lay down?"

"Emma stop! I'm gay!"

Silence hung in the room for a moment, before he continued, "I'm sorry, Emma. I had never really dated anybody and people had been making fun of me for it. Thinking back, I guess I knew something wasn't right, but I decided I should have a girlfriend."

"You started dating me because you were gay?"

"No, I didn't really even know myself at the time. I just thought 'who is the coolest girl I know?' and I thought of you."

"I..."

"Emma, I'm really sorry. If I had known, there's no way would have wasted your time. I hope you can forgive me."

It took Emma a few minutes, but she accepted this news, and understood the situation he had been in. She spent the evening talking and working through everything with her old boyfriend, but even older friend.

After he left, she sat down and took stock. She had a good explanation for everything that had been happening, but she had learned so much from John. What about that? How was she going to use her newfound skills?
