Pokimane

Pokimane shut the door behind her, locked it and kicked off her heels. She has just spent all day at a promotional event and was glad to finally be back home and away from all the people. The first thing she wanted to do was change into something much more comfortable, so she steadily made her way upstairs into her bedroom. Once she got into the room, she set her purse down on her desk and made her way towards her closet.

“What the hell?” She said to herself in an annoyed tone as she caught a glimpse of her computer screen. “Another stupid message…” she rolled her eyes walking over the computer to delete it. It only took her a couple clicks to get rid of it, but before she had a chance to turn around the message appeared again. Once more, she went to delete it but saw it reappear nearly as fast as she deleted it. Getting frustrated, she sat down in the chair and tried everything she could think of to get rid of it but each time the message returned just as fast.

“This is ridiculous…” she muttered to herself trying to delete it again. However, this time she misclicked and opened the message. “God dammit….Why won’t this thing go away?” She tried closing the message several times but had no luck. In the middle of her screen was a black and white spiral that started to spin slowly, causing her to stare at it briefly before she tried to delete it again.

“Hello Poki” came from her computer causing her to jump in surprise at the sudden noise. She looked back at the spiral for a few seconds, shaking her head and rolling her eyes.

“Stupid fucking trolls.”

“Stare at the screen” the voice spoke again. Poki had every intention of ignoring it but she couldn’t help looking back up at the screen. The spiral was moving slightly faster and drew her gaze towards the center of it. “Stare deep into it. Let it relax your mind” the voice said again making Poki focus heavily on the spiral as it sped up again. With each rotation of the spiral, she felt her frustration and anger wash away. She couldn’t take her eyes off of it even if she wanted to, it made her feel so relaxed.

“Watch the spiral” the voice repeated. “Let it relax your body”. She immediately felt her muscles start to relax, making her lean back in her chair. Her eyelids felt heavy but still she stared intently at the spinning spiral. “Stare at the spiral. When you hear a snap, you will be in a deep hypnotic trance. Nod your head if you understand” the voice instructed as the spiral spun even faster. Poki nodded at the screen slowly, her body so relaxed she could barely move a muscle. Her mind so calm she could barely focus on anything, anything other than the spiral.

*Snap*

The sound rang through her head as what little thoughts she had left disappeared. Her head slumped forward and her eyes shut as she entered a deep trance.
