It’s much worse

As Becca entered the house, she heard the indistinguishable laugh of Cat Sanchez. She gasped as she rounded the corner and found Cat sat on the couch next to Kelsey Klein, the most popular girl from their high school.

Cat looked at Becca up and down. “Becca? Is that you?!”

Becca froze. She was not expecting Cat to recognize her. Kelsey looked too and a big grin formed on her face just as Marge entered the room. “Cat, this is Barbie Roberts. Apparently she likes to be called Becky or Becca. She’ll be staying with us for a bit.”

Cat grinned as she realized the great power that she had. She could expose Becca right then and there or convince her mom of everything else.
