Kenny’s Heading To Azure Rocks!

Driving up the calm, serene roads of Azure Rocks was the Bishop family sedan. Behind the driver's seat was Daniel Bishop, and next to him was his loving wife, Monica. Earlier this morning, the pair had driven their son Zack out to the airport, he having earned his place in THEPAST program, and now on, they were returning with someone else entirely. "Apologies for the long ride, Kenny, but we're just about home." Monica's apologetic voice called out to the back seat.

Kenny slightly jumped, tearing his eyes away from his window and to the beautiful icy-blue eyes that were peering back at him from the rearview mirror. He affixed his deep brown ones on hers, "Totally okay, Mrs.Bishop, my hometown is pretty small, so I'm used to having too long rides." Monica nodded and flashed him a warm smile before looking away.

Kenny breathed a sigh of relief and slid a hand through his messy brown hair. He knew he was going to be staying with another student's family for this trip; he just hadn't expected their mother to look as stunning as Monica did. "So, you know, I think it's funny, but our son is actually heading right to your town, I believe." Daniel suddenly pipped up, pulling Kenny's mind immediately away from thoughts of Monica, "Greenwall, wasn't it?"

"Yes, sir, I'm from Greenwall. That is a pretty neat coincidence." Kenny nodded in agreement, "The good news is, everyone is very friendly in my town. So I'm sure he'll have fun; I know my cousin Juliet promised to keep an eye out for whoever was taking my spot during this exchange."

"That's good to hear; if she has even half the manners and respect you do, I'm happy Zack will meet her," Monica warmly hummed,

"And don't you worry about a thing, sport, our town is just the same; Zack spread the word to a few of his friends about the exchange as well. They're all great kids, very friendly. They can show you around," Daniel added with a firm nod,

"That'd be great; for my report, I need to go around and see some historical monuments and locations," Kenny replied as Daniel flicked on his blinker and slowly pulled the car into the driveway of a cozy but upper-middle-class family home.

"And here we are, hun," Monica announced, and the trio climbed out of the car. As Daniel popped the trunk, Kenny slowly looked around, admiring the cozy cul-de-sac that he now found himself in, until his eyes landed on a red-haired girl sitting on the front steps of the house next door. Her bright blue eyes were fixed on him with the most curious of looks, but before Kenny could call out, he felt a gentle hand on his back, leading him towards the Bishop's house, "This way, Kenny, let me show you to Zack's room. We've got is prepared for your stay this week."

"Oh, uh, yeah, thank you, Mrs.Bishop!" Kenny glanced to and from the redhead and Monica a few times before settling on focusing on getting inside for now. Maybe I can talk to her later or something? She's...pretty cute. Kenny found himself thinking as he couldn't help but steal one last glance at the girl, who he was surprised to see following him with her eyes as well.

Twenty minutes passed by as Kenny was shown to Zack's room, which Kenny had to admit put his to shame. It was located in the complete privacy of the basement in a very comfortably finished bedroom right next to a personal bathroom that he'd certainly kill for back home. With his bags unpacked pretty quickly, the teen brought out a notepad and pencil, deciding the best course of action was to head right back outside and see what he could dive into with the town...and if he was lucky, maybe that girl from next door would still be out there.

Kenny headed upstairs, thanked the Bishops one more time while also letting them know his current plans, and then headed outside. As he walked through the front door, Kenny gave a glance over, and his stomach dropped slightly as he saw the redhead nowhere to be seen. "Right...that's...to be expected," Kenny softly sighed under his breath, "Probably for the best anyway; what was I gonna say? Hi, I'm Kenny, I know we just met, but you're beautiful. Yeah, right, you don't have the charm or skill like Brian to make that work." Kenny dismissed himself with a shake of his head, "Better to focus on the school work; this isn't a vacation after all."

Kenny cleared his head and trotted down the front steps, humming to himself as he started to think about what his first move should be. "Hey, um, excuse me!" Kenny quickly turned to his left, and his eyes widened as he found the same redhead from earlier walking towards him, though now, she had a tall, lanky teen with glasses walking a step and a half behind her, "Hi, yeah, do you have a second?" She sweetly asked, closing the distance between them while Kenny stood locked in his place.

For one of the first times in a long time, Kenny was in awe at the full sight of this girl. Her long beautiful amber hair and stunningly clear blue eyes were all he caught at their first glance, but now closer, he was able to see so much more. Her body was plush but clearly athletically built, she had a cute dusting of freckles over her face, her wide hips were filled out to the point that even at this angle, he could tell she had a hell of an ass, and despite her long-sleeved, baggy shirt, her large breasts were unmistakable. It was clear to say that Kenny was beyond tongue-tied by the time the pair reached him.

However, he was just able to find his footing after a few long staring seconds of her sweet, hopeful smile, "Uh, y-yes! Yeah, of course! I remember we saw each other when I first showed up, right?"

"Yeah, exactly, that was me. I wasn't sure if you noticed," Chloe grinned, giving her hair a quick tuck behind her ear, "I'm Chloe! I'm Zack's next-door neighbor and best friend...not that really matters right now...but he's the one who you're switching with for this exchange program." Chloe explained, her words ever so slightly stumbling over themselves, "A-Anyway, I just thought we'd come to introduce ourselves,"

"Oh, okay, yeah, um...thank you! Yeah, thanks, I'm Kenneth Clark -- Er, just call me Kenny," He nervously chuckled, sticking his hands into his pockets and rocking forward and back on his feet slightly,

"Cool, we don't have a Kenny around here," Chloe smiled, glancing back to her quiet tall friend still standing a half-step behind her, "This is Gavin," She put a hand on Gavin's back and **** him to move forward, "He's not mean, he's just...shy,"

"I'm not shy. I'm -- Quiet, or whatever," Gavin mumbled, his brown eyes flicking up to Kenny quickly,

"Right," Chloe teased with a playful roll of her eyes, "He's nice; you'll just need to get to know him." Kenny gave a quick understanding nod, immediately sensing a similar vibe to his friend Avery back home, though Gavin definitely seemed much more awkward. "A-And I'm Chloe,"

"You already told him that," Gavin reminded the redhead, whose cheeks immediately went flush,

Chloe rolled her lip and awkwardly slunk down, and Kenny quickly cleared his throat, "So, Chloe and Gavin, cool! Yeah, that's awesome. The first two people I've met in the town. I appreciate you coming over; I got to admit, I'm already kinda in over my head. " Kenny quickly joked, changing the subject to take pressure off this new girl who really seemed to want Kenny to know her name.

"Yeah, Zack...told me a little about the program; seems pretty unnerving, exploring a whole new town alone," Gavin replied, "So you're supposed to tour our town and stuff?"

"Sorta," Kenny nodded, "The idea is I have to make a report about Azure Rocks' history. Like how it was founded, by who, major legends, and events. Things of that nature. So it's not just exploring the town; I'm gonna have to research it."

"Oh darn, I'd be able to point you towards some neat locations, but I'm not super well versed in all our history," Chloe frowned, "But Gav, you have to have some idea, right?"

Gavin brought a hand to his head and gave it a thoughtful scratch, "Well, uh, I guess I could take you to the library, there is a small section for town history in the back, plus there's a computer where you can access all the old newspapers that go back for a long time."

"Honestly, that'd be really great; I was about to head out to try and get a jump on things," Kenny nodded, and Gavin returned it was a slightly easier smile, warming to the new teens already,

"Sure, that's no problem; I didn't have much planned for today. I can take you," Gavin glanced over to Chloe, "You want to come?"

"Um...I..." Chloe looked at Kenny, who seemed to stare back at her with hopeful eyes, "I can't today; I'm sorry..." Chloe finally replied as she lowered her head, diverting her eyes from Kenny's, "I have to...take care of Holly while my parents are out..."

"Oh, that your sister?" Kenny asked back,

"Yeah, younger sister, she's a little bit of a brat, so someone needs to keep an eye on her," Chloe joked back, rolling in her lips and tugging at the bottom of her shirt, "But I'll obviously see you later since we're neighbors now,"

"Totally," Kenny agreed, "And thanks for coming to say hi; I really appreciate it," Chloe seemed to take a moment, trying to come up with something to say, before settling on a soft hum and a smile, "So, uh, Gavin I guess I'm with you heading to the library?"

"Yeah, it's not that far of a walk," Gavin motioned for Kenny to follow him, "I can show you some good books to check out once we're there,"

"That'd be great, thanks!" Kenny followed Gavin as they headed up the sidewalk but couldn't help but glance back at Chloe. He found the girl watching them as they walk off, and he lifted a hand, giving her a wave which she swiftly returned before forcing herself to walk back to her house.
