Playing hooky

Richard didn’t like this idea, in fact, he wasn’t on board with at all, but his friend Tommy insisted that they skip class for just one day. “Come on man, we’ll never be seen as cool if we don’t skip class.”

“Come on, Tommy, I don’t want to ruin my perfect attendance,” Richard said.

“Yeah, but this is gym class we’re talking about,” Tommy said. “As long as we’re back before 12 we won’t miss our test.”

“Where are we even going?” Richard asked.

“You’ll see,” Tommy said.

“Tommy, I don’t think I want to do this,” Richard said.

“Come on, Rick, don’t be a chicken,” Tommy said.
