I stop my unpacking and follow her outside. I have some difficulties to understand her, she seems to not want to talk, but she asked me to come with her. I won't complain, but I want to know how to act around her.

If we ignore the supernatural creatures, here and there, the campus seems pretty regular at first glance. But then, I notice the guy floating above ground in a sitting position, a girl making a flower grow from the lawn, and a pregnant girl sucking a guy in the shadow of a tree. Karitis notices her too and speaks first for the first time.

"Not using contraceptive... She deserve to turn into a breeder..."

"A breeder ?" I ask.

"When you let yourself be overwhelmed by lust and end up knocked up this early in the study of magic, you can't stop and become addicted to pregnancies. You become a breeder, a woman constantly pregnant or looking to be."

"Oh..."

I didn't know it was a risk for women learning magic. But it doesn't seem to stops most of them to follow theses studies. I wonder how many women per year who becomes breeders. What kind of life would they live. But then I notice something else.

"There isn't that much non humans on the campus, and yet there was so many in our dormitory."

"You don't even know that ? Not everyone is happy about our presence, so they put us with humans that have shown open minded spirit."

"Oh sorry."

I really should be more aware about things that going on around me. I knew that there was protest about non humans coming to our country. But, people like that always protested for something or another. Anyway, I'm happy to have been placed in that dormitory, I wouldn't have met Karitis or Ako, if I wasn't.

The dark elf stops in front of a building, the nameplate says "spell practice." And she walks in. I follow and as soon as I'm in I hear the moaning sounds from multiple people having sex.
