Getting orientated

Staring to the front of the class, Kasumi wasn't completely certain what was about to happen. While the room was dark, she could make out a mix of male and female grunts. They were likely to be in a similar boat to her.

"Is that everyone? Good." a voice announced and Kasumi's gaze shot up to the front. There, a man stood. Dressed in what she could only assume to be the elite version of her uniform, a tiny part of her felt envious of him. He was likely a high-ranking member of Team Rocket. Someone for her to aspire to be. "Welcome to the Team Rocket orientation. Does anyone have questions before we start?"

The room went silent.

"Good." the elite grunt announced and scanned the room one more time for good measure. Once he had done that, a remote came out. "Let us begin."

What followed, was a half hour of slides and videos. While a bit on the dry side, Kasumi found herself enthralled. She was going to get to go on all kinds of missions. While not all of them involved stealing pokemon, there was enough there she could look past that fact.

"Any questions?" the elite grunt continued as the lights came on. Like the previous time, no one answered. Instead, their gazes were on each other.
