“You are being hired to conduct some field test Miss Wong, not to dig up about this place or what we are doing- “

“Take it easy, I am just piecing things together” Ada spoke cutting the conversation for a moment before continuing “I like to conduct my own research before being hired by someone, I don’t come to someone’s house before knowing what it’s inside, I have no desire to know your end goals here Doctor Hoffman” Ada reassured the scientist who calmed down a bit, she seemed a bit on edge which raised a few red flags, she knows very well what a tired Scientist on edge could be capable of.

“Understandable… why don’t we discuss the parameters of your work in my office?” Ada nodded as both went to Doctor Hoffman’s office not so far away from where they were.

“F Virus?” Ada asked rising an eyebrow while looking at some papers with information about the biological weapon, alongside with a few pics of the people infected by it “It isn’t the viral weapon that was released upon this region a few years ago?”

“Accidently released” Hoffman clarified, “A canister that was transporting a large amount of the virus got broken and a whole town was affected… luckily, the Outbreak was contained in time before it could spread further” the Scientist adjusted her glasses while taking another sip from her mug.

“The BSAA is in the town?” Ada asked quickly

“And you want me to release the enhanced version of this virus in that town while using the BSAA as guinea pigs, right?”

Hoffman remained in silence while trying to suppress with a rather dead pan expression, which it confirmed Ada's suspicions about what her job was going to be.

“Anyways… we have prepared a device that contains a considerable amount of the virus in gas state, knowing the circumstances, the BSAA should already be in possession, or retrieved the device, once you have confirmation, you will set the Device and it will spread the virus on a 100 meter radius, once the operatives start to mutate, you will catalog and take notes of the situation, and how good are the infected when it comes to combat against the BSAA units” Hoffman delivered the information and objectives to Ada’s personal PDA device in order to keep things in check.

“So… how this device works?” Ada asked while browsing thought her PDA looking at the information. “It’s basically a bomb that once set, it will detonate in 40 seconds, pretty easy to use, even a brain-dead monkey should be able to operate it with no issues, so… I am pretty sure that someone of your expertise won’t have any issues at all” despite of sounding as professional as possible, Ada could sense a faint mocking tone coming from the doctor’s mouth “Heh… maybe I punched more than a few nerves…” Ada though for a moment before the Doctor continued.

“Once you have finished with your objectives and collected enough data, you will head to a remote location southeast of the town at 40 miles away, there’s a small cabin in that area. In there, you will find a computer that you will use in order to sent the data directly to us” The scientist took a moment to put her glasses on once again while Ada kept listening.

"And why not just use my phone and make a call?"

"It is a way to... prevent certain unseen circumtances that could happen, such valuable information can't fall on the wrong hands..."

"Clever..." Ada though for a moment, the fact that she had to use a device out of her reach to fulfill her task was annoying.

“If everything turns out as it should, we will release the payment to your designated bank account, once the job is done, you can disappear as how you see fit after the money is sent”

“So, no fancy ride from that Cabin to my house, huh?” That certainly complicated things for Ada since there's wasn't any sort of extraction plan.

“Understood” Ada stood up while checking the coordinates where cabin was located. “Question though”.

“In the case of a possible infection… there’s a cure for this?”

"Are you sure about that? … Damn it, all right… keep me in touch Lin”

With that, she hanged out dropping the phone on the desk while rubbing her forehead with her hands “That Damn clone will end up killing all of us if we don’t do something about it…”

- Australia, BSAA Base, present time.

“How many casualties we suffered?” Jill was inside of one of the rooms of the base that looked like a conference area with Clive as the entire base was full in alert, after receiving the information regarding of the F Protocol by Claire, all personal was mobilizing and getting ready to launch a direct **** to Excella’s HQ once her location were verified.

Clive made a deep sigh knowing that now he will have to deal with the families of those dead soldiers, and 5 of those wouldn’t be able to have a proper funeral “The storm hasn’t arrived and we are already losing lives…”

There was a moment of silent between the two, only the sound of the base was heard and people running around outside of the room in the main corridor “Sir, it is true that agent Sheva got infected as well?” she asked with concern, despite the news she heard, she still had a hard time swallowing the news of her fellow agent and friend succumbing to the virus… specially after what they went through in the past.

“Sadly, yes… but still, we are not 100% sure if the information that Clare received from her is real or it could be a trap from what we could know, however, since we don't know where she is, she will addresed as a high level threat if we encounter her”

"With all due respect sir, but the fact that Sheva even after been infected was still able to give us the only lead that we have about Excella and her plans! How can we just forget everything that she-"

“Understood sir” She nodded as Clive put away the bottle “We don’t know what is going to happen next so I can’t sacrifice more men in order to hunt down Wong, you will have to go with Chambers alone without back up, the main priority is to put her down for good, but if she somehow was able to retain some of her sanity… try to pull as much information as you can from her, understood?”

“Sir, yes sir!” And with that, Jill exited the room as she took her phone and called Rebbeca, it was time to gear up “Meet me at the armory in 5 minutes and pick up what you need, we have a mission to do, O’Bran ordered us to hunt down Ada Wong… don’t worry, I have a hint or two to where she may be…” Jill spoke while she was holding Ada’s PDA device on her other hand…
