The next most important fact these imprints provide is the realization that these "wolves" walked on two feet, not four, if your elementary knowledge on foot prints are to be found correct. This fact, does a little to make you feel better, the idea of intelligent reasoning popping into your head.

Perhaps these Canine creatures would allow you to seek shelter with them? Or at the very least give you directions and not maul you like a bunch of feral animals.
