What does he try to do now?
Go to the front desk.
Curtis is shivering from the cold, but decides that the only way back into his room is by getting help from the front desk. He slowly walks there, muttering to himself about how he should have watched his shorts to avoid this predicament and hoping that the front desk will be able to help him into his room. Luckily, as he walks in he spots nobody, but then realizes there is literally nobody, not even at the front desk.
He does seen a sign saying the desk is taking a quick break, but he also spots a bell to ring though, and decides to ring it, repeatedly.
*ring* *ring* *ring*
“What is the big rush, can I not have a simple five minute break around here?”
Grumpily walking in was none other than the front desk lady from yesterday, Avery.
“What is it that you want that was so important it could not wait just five minutes?”
Stuttering at first, Curtis explains what happened at the pool and how he is now standing at the front desk in nothing other than the towel. This almost instantaneously puts a large smile on Avery’s face. She doesn’t say anything right away, it almost seems as if she is plotting something in her head while Curtis stares at her. At first she just seems to ask something reasonable, but then at the end she suddenly blurts out something completely unexpected.
“Well I do remember you from yesterday, but just incase I need your name and room number. AND, drop the towel, hands on your head.”
