With Harry and Lily Potter at Their Home

Glancing at her son, Lily smiled, so happy that she was alive after that unfortunate night. Even though James had lost his life, Lily was able to raise Harry herself.

Rubbing her thighs together, Lily’s thoughts turned naughty. She wasn't sure if she was willing to go through with the decision of what to do about her son. With one last glance at her son, her mind was made up.

Taking a clear odorless potion out of her robe pocket, Lily stealthily poured it into a cup of tea she had prepared for Harry. Swirling the potion in, she waited until it settled before bringing it to the dining room table and offering it to Harry.

“Here you go, I thought it might help you focus while you do your school work,” Lily said while offering him the tea.

Looking up at her, Harry smiled, “Thanks mum.”

Taking a sip, he complimented the tea, “It’s as delicious as always,” before going back to work.

Walking behind her son, Lily took out her wand and cast a silent spell at him, ‘Confundo.’ Using the Confundus Charm, Lily made Harry think that it was his idea that he should drink all of his tea.

When he set down the empty tea cup, Lily smirked and cast the same spell silently again, ‘Confundo.’ This time what she was using the Confundus Charm to do was to make Harry think that there was nothing wrong with doing anything his mum said to do.

This, along with the Compulsion Potion that was in his tea had a combined effect that would make Harry do whatever she told him to do and not think there was anything wrong with doing so.
