Chapter 4 by SpiralFelix SpiralFelix

When in Mackenzie's freshman year does her slightly less horrible day begin?

5.9) Late October (Dorm Meeting)

Mackenzie stood in the shower, letting the hot water run down her vibrant red hair. The gorgeous freshman had been trying to let herself well and truly relax for days now, without much in the way of results. True, it had been nearly a full week since her last big humiliating escapade, but the bigger ones always felt harder to get over. In this particular case, Mackenzie had inadvertently found herself streaking across a football field. The same football field that was in the campus's giant stadium. And the same stadium that had been packed nearly to the brim with students and alumni all there for Homecoming Weekend. The redhead tried not to make herself relive the dozens of spotlights and potentially even hundreds of cellphones that had highlighted and captured her embarrassing plight.

Mackenzie sighed and turned the shower knob clockwise until the water stopped. The shower wasn't helping her relax much after all. So much for getting the incident out of her mind...

Instead, she pulled the curtain open and began toweling her dripping wet body off. Her towel and dirty clothes were still there, thankfully. Mackenzie wasn't entirely sure how, but on two separate occasions now someone had managed to steal her belongings while she'd showered in the dorm. Luckily, it had only left the young beauty with a short nude sprint back to her room, much nicer than having to run naked clear across campus. (Although, one of the times she'd literally bumped into one of her male floormates, causing more than a bit of a stir.)

But today she seemed to be in the clear. All her belongings were exactly where she left them. So, Mackenzie draped the towel around herself, picked up her discarded clothes, and exited the shower stall. Opening the door to the fourth floor women's restroom, the towel-clad young woman briskly walked back towards her dorm room. It was a relatively short walk, only 30 seconds or so. But, when Mackenzie was just over halfway there, disaster struck.

Chris, the floor's RA, stepped out of her room, blocking Mackenzie's path and almost causing the redhead to crash into her.

"Ah, Mackenzie, perfect timing," the dark haired girl said nonchalantly. "Floor meeting's about to start."

"Floor meeting?!" Mackenzie stammered. "I thought that wasn't until tomorrow..."

"I moved it up a day," Chris responded. "Didn't you get my group text?"

"What? No! I-I was in the shower!" Mackenzie stammered as Chris walked around her.

"Eh, no biggie," she replied. As Chris successfully passed by Mackenzie, she gently yet firmly grabbed the hem of the red head's towel. "Shall we head over to the common room?"

And with that, Chris began tugging Mackenzie down the hallway by the towel.

"W-WAIT!" Mackenzie practically screamed. She hastily followed in Chris's footsteps, not wanting to let the towel be pulled off her body. "Chris, can't I just get dressed real quick first?"

"Aw come on, it'll just take two minutes," the RA responded. "Besides, you were dressed like that for the first floor meeting, right?"

"Yes, but..." Mackenzie muttered, preferring not to recall that that was indeed how she had been dressed for her very first meeting of all of her floormates. "I'd rather not repeat it! Please, I just need a second!"

Mackenzie was subtly trying to pull the towel free from Chris's grip, but yielded no results. Chris, she had come to learn, was an avid rock climber, and her grip was one of pure iron. All Mackenzie's struggling only resulted in the redhead dropping what few clothes she carried bundled in her arms.

"You know what your problem is?" Chris asked, looking back to face the redhead with a slight smirk, "You worry too much. Lighten up!"

And with that, Mackenzie was practically thrust into the common room, where nearly 30 of her floormates were assembled and waiting. And she was wearing nothing but a towel.

How does the brief meeting go for Mackenzie?
