Talia's rule
Talia sets her attention to restoring the environment.
People are relocating and will end up living much closer together. Most ordinary people Talia feels are not worthy, so she does not give them eternal life. She also forbids them from reproducing.
A scientist who quickly gains Talia's attention is Pamela Isley. Isley is very innovative. Talia works closely with Isley. There are things Talia disapproves of: Isley's wife Harley, who is too immature and Isley is not much of a fighter.
