Gifts chosen, home done set aside, reality warp gates opened; it was time for final checks.

Zak was a father already, and while the girl was in the capable hands of her mother and step father, the system found Layla wasn't happy with her current set up. Her doodles tended to put her on the open road with her father, and she took more joy in spending time with him than all the fancy stuff her mom put in front of her... along with 'smile for the camera'. In another world, Layla might be a candidate for some sort of guardian..., or fairies.

It wouldn't be too HARD to upgrade the ship a bit more for three, nor would it be hard to bring the girl along. Granted it would be breaking some laws if it did so..., but it broke reality all the time. And it could possibly help fullfill the contract on Blackfire's end...
