Dago thought he could use a bit of a change and he hadn’t spent a lot of time in Europe. He glanced at his watch, which was set to central standard time, like in Cuautitlan. It was evening there, so it would be night in Europe. He’d be able to go. He walked through the portal and appeared in the middle of an alleyway in a city he didn’t immediately recognize.

He wandered out of the alleyway and looked around. To his left there was a huge field that had tall grass and was dotted with the occasionally tree. To his right, there was the rest of the city, which had quite a few people inhabiting it. He realized he was standing just outside of what looked like a restaurant, too. Across the street, there was a large warehouse that had the light on at the very top floor.
