Keep her on a tighter leash

Byleth and Rhea had a devious idea, something that would ensure poor Bernadetta felt embarrassed completely. All that was left was to share it with her.

Upon returning to the classroom, Byleth found Bernadetta hiding in the corner, trying to ensure she wasn't in view of any of the windows or the doorway. "Bernadetta? You can come out now."

"P-professor? H-how did it go?"

"Well, I have good news and bad news. The good news is that I talked her out of expelling you. She has allowed you to stay here."

"Oh thank you professor! Thank you so much!"

"As I said, that's not all. There were... some complications. She said that you were clearly not taking this armor proficiency thing seriously. She thinks you'll need more time, and more help, to truly grasp how important coverings for your body are..."

"W-w-w-what does that mean?"

"It means that you wont be able to test again for at least a year. It was originally a week, but only because Rhea believed you understood how serious this was, she now believes you do not."

"But thats-"

"And she also believes you need to be chaperoned to make sure that you are attending to your studies appropriately. She wants you to learn from experience why clothing is important. So... from now on, you will wear this." She hands the poor girl a collar with a leash attached.

"I can't do this... Please professor, there has to be another way!"

"I'm sorry. There really isn't. I fought for you, I don't like this either, but ill do my best to make this as painless as it can be."

"Thank you professor..."

"Now, we'll ease you into this. I don't want to make things too hard on you. So let's wait for nightfall, there should be less students around. Then ill lead you back to the dorms."
