Chapter 28 by kinkygeek kinkygeek

What's next?

Paying for it the next day^`

You're not sure if it was too much booze, too much sex, or not enough sleep, but you are hurting this Saturday morning. With your head pounding, you quickly swallow two Tylenol and pray they start working soon. Greg is obviously disappointed that you missed the morning meet and greet before today's presentation. You feel bad for letting him down, but you aren't in good shape to do much meeting or greeting right now. As you try and fail to listen to the presenter drone on and on about maximizing profit while minimizing overhead, Greg leans over and whispers in your ear.

"I hope you don't mind me saying this, Suzy, but you look like hell."

Feelings of guilt wash over you. "I'm sorry, Greg. This is so unprofessional of me, and I'm letting you and Jackie down."

"Nonsense, my dear. Everyone has rough mornings now and again. Whatever's going on, why don't you go sleep it off?" he suggests understandingly.

"Are you sure?" you ask, still feeling guilty.

"I'm positive. Now, go get some rest. I'll call on you around noon," he says reassuringly.

"Thank you", you say as you make your way to the door of the conference room as discreetly as you can.

As you make your way from the conference to your hotel room, thoughts of Dave and Diane keep invading your mind and making you a little hot and bothered. You know you're in no state to ask your husband about his affair with your sister, but you sure would like to tell Diane what you know and confess to her just how hot you think it is. She's probably still in town packing up the rest of her stuff at Steve's house, and you're seriously considering going over there right now to ask her for all the juicy details.

A few minutes later, you reach your room. Opening your purse, you pull out the key and swipe it against the lock. The light on the lock flashes red.

"What the hell?" you mutter to yourself. You try two more swipes, but it still flashes red. Turning the platinum-colored key over in your hand, you see why. "Shit! This is the key to Greg's suite!" You dig around in your purse for another minute, but your gold-colored room key is nowhere to be found. You must have left it on the nightstand. It looks like you'll have to go to the front desk and ask for a new key. Annoyed at yourself, you turn around and walk back to the elevator. Well, if you're going back down anyway, you may as well go talk to Diane right now. Just as you're about to hit the button for the lobby, you notice the key reader for the executive floor.

Should I go see Diane?

Or should I go up to Greg's executive suite?

What's next?
