Dathomir

The dark and hostile-to-life Panet of Dathomir is well known for its agressive flora and fauna, which exists only to wipe out all life within reach. The only people who come here are either stupid, ****, or have some kind of business with the Nightsisters. The **** witches who rule over the planet.

But the time of the Nightsisters is long gone. During the clone wars, a sith lord called Dooku ordered his henchmen to kill all Nightsisters. And he mostly succeeded. During the rise of the empire only one Nightsister was still active and even she left the planet with a Jedi who survived the destruction of his order.

After the battle of Yavin 4 and the destruction of the **** Star, the empire increased its military presence on many worlds to surpress the population and make sure no rebel activities grew. Dathomir was one of the few worlds which was not part of this. Since the population, the subordinates of the witches, were as hostile as the whole environment, only a few Stromtroopers were sent to Dathomir. And even this was more part of a punishment for the soldiers than a real invasion.
