It hurt her muddy feet to tread upon it, so Hannah stepped off it onto the moist grass.

She took a careful look around. The winding path stretch around the bushes, leading deeper into the park, towards the old playground. She could hear music playing, some pop song she barely recognised. She could hear the giggling of girls, and her mind immediately imagined them laughing at her. Just about anyone else might take pity on her, but teens would undoubtedly laugh right in her face. Hannah hoped they at least wouldn't take pictures, let alone film her.
