Your arrival on Rodia

The Republic asks the Jedi to assist in this matter, there is no time for a fleet to be redeployed from the outer rim, but a small squad of fast moving fighters and bombers could get to the planet in time from Coruscant. The council delegates you, accompanied by Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker to handle the situation. You take a company of clone troopers with you as backup, three Jedi can't defeat an entire army of droids all alone.

After landing and observing the defence capabilities of the planet, Obi-Wan suggests you set yourselves up at the capital and try to find a narrow place to ambush the unsuspecting invaders there from high ground. The Rodians are just recovering from their supply shortage, but even before that, they lacked a well equipped army to defend themselves, so you are mostly on your own.

As you work out the details, scanners show two separatist battleships coming out of hyperspace. Dreadnoughts! They are the biggest ships of the separatists! And now there are two of them just above you!

Lana: Two?! Our plans were only based on one smaller battleship and its landing ****! This is going to be a too great numerical disadvantage!

Obi-Wan: The girl is right Anakin, we can't face them head on, their numbers are simply too high... We must find an other way...

Anakin: If they render our plans useless we will improvise like we always do! I wasn't keen on fighting droids in a densely populated area, anyway!

Obi-Wan: Anakin...

Lana: What do you propose? I have heard you could handle the most dire of situations with "unorthodox" methods!

Obi-Wan: Actually, unorthodox is an understatement for Anakin's methods...!

Anakin: Come on, don't blame my tactics, they wouldn't be necessary if we were provided with enough firepower to overcome the enemy otherwise!

Obi-Wan: Anakin, having a tactic means doing what you can, with what you have... But you prefer doing near suicidal actions on a more than regular basis! Calling your methods "tactic", is like calling C-3PO a battle droid!

Lana: Ouhf!

Anakin: Right, maybe they involve a bit more action than ordinary military doctrines, but their success rate is higher too! You can't deny that!

Obi-Wan: That may be true, but if you continue to do such reckless actions, we might die in a battle soon.

Anakin: Don't worry master, I have just thought of the perfect plan to bring both battleships down simultaneously!

Obi-Wan: I was afraid you would say that...

Anakin: Here is the plan... You will take the clones and board one of the battleships as a strike team, disable it from the inside and get away, while I will be escorting you with the fighters and bombers, once you are on the ship, we will take the other one out from the outside. No big deal!

Obi-Wan: See young one? This is one of the usual Skywalker methods! Charge there right through the main doors, improvise with all the upcoming problems, don't think of the details, blow something up and get back safely. Simple as always... But at least I don't have to fly a ship, have I told you before, that I hate flying...?

Anakin: Couldn't have summarised it better myself! Aand, yes, you might have mentioned it a few times, hence, I found you a job without having to fly a fighter! Any questions?

Lana: Yes, if I may... What will be my role in all of this?

Anakin: Yeah, well I was going to let you pick where you want to assist. You could go with Obi-Wan to fight in the ship, or you could come with me to fight in the space battle. Your choice!
