They meet Christine

Upon arriving home, Tony and Pepper host a press conference to talk about the attack. During it, he meets a reporter, Christine Everheart (Anne_Hathaway), who is critical of Tony's weapons, however is quickly charmed by him, and they have sex that night.

In the morning, Christine wakes up, only to find Tony, and the rest of her clothes, nowhere in sight. Confused, she starts to wander around his Malibu mansion, before eventually running in to Pepper Potts. Jealous that Tony slept with her, she kicks Christine out of the house naked, without her phone, wallet, driver's licence, or anything else to get home, including her apartment keys, not to mention that her apartment is an hour away by car. She was in trouble.

We then get scenes of Tony and Pepper upgrading their suits.

One scene involves Pepper testing the flight ability. Of course she is only wearing the glove and boot parts of the suit, and no other clothes, which according to Tony is because "that way the suit can calibrate properly". Really, he just wants to see Pepper naked. Pepper, visibly nervous, messes up her position, sending her flying out of the rooftop and into the city in the middle of the day.

Another scene shows them testing out the ability to resist weather at night. Pepper starts to fly extremely high, and accidentally starts to freeze the suit. The suit starts falling rapidly, and Tony tells her the only way to get out is by ejecting. She does, however that leaves her in the cold waters, with nothing on, miles away from home. And for some reason Tony wasn't responding to communications.

More and more scenes go on like this, Pepper's suit catching on fire and getting out of it only to be sprayed by Tony's mud-dispensing robot.... which was apparently "the most cost-effective way to put out fires", Pepper and Tony testing out her female-stripping blast from her hands on some random teenage girls while on a crowded street, Pepper testing out her chest laser on Christine, and more.
