Kate goes to Oliver to ask him to turn it down

With a growing determination to regain her focus, Kate made her decision. She would pay a neighborly visit and kindly request Oliver to lower the volume of his intrusive music. Four knocks echoed on his door, and a voice from within called out, "Just a minute!"

The door swung open, revealing Oliver, his face breaking into a wide, friendly grin. He was dressed casually, a tank top and sweatpants lending him a relaxed air. "Good morning!" he greeted her, his voice cheerful and warm.

Without hesitation, he darted toward his bedroom, vanishing momentarily from sight. The music ceased, replaced by a newfound silence that settled in the air between them. He reappeared with a sense of accomplishment, declaring, "There, no music."

Kate couldn't help but appreciate his prompt response, a gesture that bridged their newfound neighborly connection. "Thank you," she replied with a grateful smile. "I appreciate it. I just had some work to do, you know?"

Oliver's gaze flickered briefly over Kate, her casual attire doing nothing to diminish her appeal. Her simple white t-shirt and pajama shorts seemed to exude an effortless charm.

His invitation caught her by surprise, the prospect of company a welcome diversion from her work. "I was just making some coffee," he continued, his voice inviting. "Do you want to come in? I could fix you a cup."
