Awkward morning

I woke late, I don't often dream (or remember them at all) but I had some recollection of some weird lucid erotic dreams, not surprising if I am honest. Their memory was fading fast, but they certainly left an effect as my morning wood strained against my covers. It stayed like that as I walked into my on-suite shower and tried shrugging off the after-effects of the **** from last night.

Thinking of last night, I wonder what I should say to Gemma? Would she even talk to me or just avoid me? While more experienced with the opposite sex than I was 24hrs ago, I still didn't know much about them.

There was a loud knock at my door as I stepped out of the shower.

Me: 'Shit'

It was probably Gemma ready to tell me what a prick I am and that she has reported me to the university for being a creep or something. I quickly chucked some clothes on and opened the door.

Guy: 'Oh hey, I'm Josh, Annie's boyfriend.'

It took me a while to realise that the person standing at the door was not my hot but probably angry female flatmate. It took me even longer to process what he said, and when I did was disappointed to hear that Annie was in a relationship. On reflection, though maybe that's a good thing, my hormones have already potentially ruined one relationship with a flatmate; best not let them ruin another.

Josh: '…you must be Alex.'

Me: 'Yeah, that's me… sorry, just got up.'

Josh: 'haha, I can tell. Don't worry, I'm not moving in; I'm just helping Annie move the rest of her stuff in.'

As he said that, Annie appeared out of her room door; she looked just as good as I remember.

Annie: 'Hi Alex '

Me: 'So Josh is the lucky boyfriend?' Nice to meet you.'

I extended my hand, and Josh shook it.

Josh: 'Nice to meet you too.'

Annie: 'alright now, you to know each other, you can fetch the rest of my stuff from the car.'

I wasn't sure if that was aimed at Josh or both of us if I'm honest.

Me: 'Want a hand?'

Josh: 'Yeah, that would be good, thanks.'

Me: 'alright, give me a moment, and I will be right out.'
