Everything Out In The Open

Kenny slowed his jog and took in a few deep breaths as he reached Nicole's house, quickly jogging up to the front door and giving it a quick knock. A few moments passed before Kenny reached into his pocket shooting Nicole a quick text, letting her knew he was there, assuming she must have not heard him. As he hit send, he gave the door another short knock, and this time the door opened in a few seconds. However, Nicole wasn't the one standing before him, instead he found a tall, buxom brunette standing before him. Her brown hair hung down just past her shoulders in a perfect wavy fashion and her blue eyes looked down at him with soft concern, "Hello? Can I help you?"

Kenny cleared his throat, "Oh, you must be Ms.Moore, I'm sorry for coming here so late. I hope I didn't disturb you." The teenager swiftly apologized and the woman arched her eyebrow,

"Yes I am, but please, I prefer Amber," She corrected as she let go of the door. She crossed her arms giving Kenny a once over, "You're here to see my daughter?"

"Yes, I'm a friend, I asked if I could come over to talk to her. I guess she didn't let you know," Kenny groaned with a quick toss of his eyes, "I'm sorry, would it be alright if I spoke her?"

Suddenly Kenny found a smirking smile on Amber's face, "You asking me that alone tells me you aren't one of Nicole's usual guy "friends" they don't normally come to do the door at all, and if they do, they let themselves in."

"That's rude," Kenny immediately retorted and Amber let out a small laugh, stepping aside and holding extending a hand out to the interior of her home in a welcoming fashion, "Oh, thank you,"

"You're quite welcome," Amber shut the door behind Kenny and led him to the living room. It was at this very same moment that Nicole came rounding the corner with a confused look on her face, "Nicole, you're friend is here," Amber sarcastically announced, giving her daughter a side eye, "Thank you for telling me you were having company over,"

"He just texted asking if he could come talk to me mom, what was I supposed to say, no? Gees, don't have a cow," Amber stepped past her daughter and Nicole immediately moved to Kenny, grabbing his arm and looking at him with flared eyes, "Why didn't you just come to my window, stupid?"

"Because he figured that would be rude, Nicole. Which it is," Amber answered before Kenny could reply. Nicole rolled her eyes and began to pull Kenny along, "So I take it," Kenny turned his head, looking over at Nicole's mother, "You must be Kenny?"

"Uh...yeah? How'd you know that?" Kenny asked back,

He found another joyful smile on Amber's face, "Oh, I've heard a lot about you recently."

"Mom, shut up!" Nicole abruptly shouted out and swiftly yanked Kenny up the hallway, towards her bedroom.

"You're welcome anytime, Kenny!" Amber made one final call out before the teens disappeared inside the bedroom and Nicole promptly slammed the door shut.

"Ugh, last time I ever tell her anything...I swear to fucking God," Nicole hissed under her breath before flicking her eyes over, seeing Kenny curiously staring back. In a flash Nicole put on a bright smile, "Fucking parents, right? Always trying to worm their way into shit and fucking embarrass you." The redhead loudly joked following it up with almost a **** laugh as she moved back to her bed.

"Yeah, I guess so," Kenny halfheartedly agreed before giving his head a quick shake, "My bad, I'll try to remember the window next time. Didn't realize that was the preferred entrance,"

"It's just so I don't have to deal with that," Nicole thumbed over her shoulder, "She does that to everyone I bring over," Does she? Kenny thought, but decided it would be best not to push this topic. "Anyway, what's up? What's got you all worked up?"

Kenny blew out a slow exhale and brought a hand up, slowly rubbing his brow, "Yeah, that..." Nicole extended a hand a gave a few quick pats on the end of her bed. Kenny nodded, kicking off his shoes and climbing on. The pair quickly adjusted with Nicole sitting in the center towards the head of the bed, while Kenny remained at the foot, "Man, I don't even know where to begin,"

"How about you start with the main problem and we work our way from there?" Nicole settled herself and leaned back against her headboard, "This looks like it's gonna be good,"

Kenny let out a scoffing laugh, "The exact opposite, actually," Nicole wiped her smile away, hearing Kenny's serious tone, understanding to him at least, this was no joke. The teen wet his lips and searched his mind for the right words, "I guess...I guess the main problem is...I'm currently having sex with six girls and I haven't made any attempt to lower that number or get serious with even one of them."

"Oooh, so the player isn't really a player, huh?" Nicole hummed with a slow nod, "Let me guess, a bunch of disgusting feeling things are getting in the way and now you're afraid of hurting them, aren't you?" Kenny nodded, "Oh boy, yeah, this is why guys like you aren't supposed to do this sort of thing."

"It wasn't something I went out looking for, it just happened," Kenny swiftly defended, "Most of them jumped me,"

"You trying to say you're the victim here, because you're not. Neither are they, though," Nicole nonchalantly shrugged her shoulder, "It's takes two to tango. People who play these games need to be prepared for what happens when they lose."

"Can you please not speak in weird proverbs right now?" Nicole smirked and let out a small giggle as Kenny sighed, "So, yeah, that's my main issue and the real thing is, I need to figure out how to make a choice on who I should be with or at least how to let some of them go. I feel so fucking guilty and selfish because I do care about all of them and I don't want to hurt anyone,"

"Okay...well, let's get real here then," Nicole sat back up, "First things first, let's really open this fucking door. You want legit advice, then you need to be real with me. No bashful dodges, or coy work around, pure honesty." Kenny let out a long slow exhale before nodding in agreement, "Good, then how about you tell me who all these mystery girls are."

"Well you know most of them, Elle, Bella...you," Nicole teasingly blew the teen a kiss. "Heh, thanks," Kenny meekly returned, "But then starts some of the main issues, I'm also messing with both their sisters, Quinn and Tessa."

"Damn, check out this stud," Kenny rolled his eyes once again, "Okay, so you're caught between some sisters, that'll...happen, I guess." Nicole hummed with thought for a few moments, "Well, how about we start of easy with me!" Kenny's brow jumped up, "Ken, I think we both know I've been having a hell of a lot of fun with you this summer. You...scratch a very particular itch for me that no one else has been able too." The redhead then dryly swallowed, "But...that's all this has to be. You mean way too much to me as a friend for me to let it all get thrown away. So if you have to set me aside for someone else, that's fine. We're friends, we're always going to be friends, and that's something I'd never change."

"Really? I...I've had fun with you too Nikki, I just -- I wish this wasn't so fucking messy," Kenny groaned,

"Relax, just tell me we're friends and we can move onto the next girl, okay?" Kenny pursed his lips and Nicole smirked, "Nicole, let's be friends. Go on, say it."

"Nicole...let's...be friends..." Kenny mumbled back,

"Perfect, case close, matter settled. Now onto big bad Bella, what's her deal?" Nicole immediately asked, not lingering on what was just said for even half a second,

"Oh, her...she just...gets in my head, I guess. We don't actually like each other, at least I don't think we do, but we always end up..." Kenny trailed off,

"Fucking," Nicole finished for him, "Yeah, I know that kind of phenomenon. The solution is pretty easy, putting it in play can be tough though. Just stop fucking them," Kenny scoffed, "Hey, you wanted advice, that's literally the only advice I can offer for someone like that. You already said you don't really like her, which means she's not a real contender."

"Well I said I don't know if it's serious or not, last time we were together, things got a little...real," Nicole gave Kenny a hard glare, "What?! It's true, she was saying some...serious stuff, I think?"

"Fine, then if you don't want her then next time you're together you just gotta resist her advances. You do that, you'll be fine. Just keep the monster in it's cage," Nicole finished, "And her sister, Quinn?"

"Oh Jesus, that's fucking bad," Kenny sighed, "I think she's like...in love with me. She wants to date me so bad, she says she'll fight anyone who gets in the way, and she's willing to risk anything, Juliet finding out, Will too, doesn't matter to her."

"Yikes, that's not good, there is no simple fix for that one pal. You are either with her at this point, or you're going to have to let her down easy. Only thing I guess I can remind you of is how sticky of a situation being with a girl like her could get. Especially after hearing about you and her brother, family dinners would be...ahem...awkward to say the least,"

"Tell me about it," Kenny gave his head a shake, "Not to mention I'm in the same spot with Elle, she wants to start going out officially now that everything is out in the open and she's fully single. She was my first everything, well almost everything. I don't want to hurt her but I every time I think about her now, I feel guilty. I screwed up her life just so I could finally have sex,"

"That girl likes you, I told you I saw that," Nicole immediately agreed, "And you need to make sure that if you're with her it's because you actually want to be and not because you think you have to be."

"Which makes matters worse because as of tonight, I went out on another date with Tessa that ended with me...taking her virginity," Nicole bent forward and thumped Kenny on the head, "Ow! What the hell!?"

"You dumb ass, you don't take a girls virginity unless you know you're going to be free and available! Do you know how attached some people get?!" Kenny grimaced and Nicole let out a sigh, "Okay, okay, that's not a guarantee, she might have just been looking for that to happen and is fine keeping it loose but if you're picking either one of those girls you need to make sure the other completely understands what's happening. You can't just turn down Elle or Tessa and then start dating the other. That'll crush the other and you'll be a grade a asshole,"

"Yeah, I know, I know, I already think I am, thank you." Kenny retorted,

"Hey, don't get bitchy because I'm telling you how it is," The pair glared at one another for a long minute until Nicole stuck her tongue out and Kenny couldn't help but crack a smile, "So that's five, whose number six?"

"Huh?" Kenny felt his blood run cold,

"You told me six girls, Ellie, Tessa, Quinn, Bella, and Me. Who is the mystery number six girl?" Nicole asked again,

"N-No, I...I misspoke," Kenny lied, though Nicole clearly wasn't buying it,

"Ken, it's fine whoever it is, just tell me. No judgement," Nicole urged,

Kenny squeezed his hands in fists, his face started to burn red, but the urge to finally get this secret off his chest was overwhelming, "I had sex with Juliet!" He blurted out and then squeezed his eyes shut, waiting for the ridicule,

"Oooooh, so that why you didn't want to go home," Nicole merely replied and the teen opened a eye, "Huh, I really didn't think you'd be into that sorta thing, but I guess it's kinda a hot taboo or whatever? I mean you two are really close, and if you were back in the twelve-hundreds or whatever, you probably could have just married her."

Kenny rapidly blinked, shaking his head to make sure he was in fact still awake, "That's it? No...revulsion, no calling me a freak? You're not gonna toss me out?"

"Do you want me to thump you again?" Nicole frowned, "I told you no judgement. You did Juliet, cool, whatever. Fun or not, you know you can't get actually serious with her. Just don't work like that these days, unless you two just left town and went somewhere far together."

Kenny blankly stared back at the girl, "I don't think I want to do that," He dryly replied.

"Then don't stick it in your cousin anymore and go back to being a protective brother type," Nicole shrugged, "That's the most simple." Nicole then smiled, "See, I told you I could help if you're honest!"

"Yeah...Jesus, you're the first person I ever told that too. I didn't know what to expect," Kenny breathed, finally feeling relief over take him,

"I mean, I can see how that's hot and you end up getting it on," Nicole shrugged, "Just don't get weird with it and try to date her and you're fine in my book," The redhead scooted closer to him, "Feel better now?"

"A little, at least not as overwhelmed," Kenny gulped and rolled his bottom jaw back and forth, "But...uh...I'm really not ready to talk to Julie, not tonight. I don't have it in me. Do you...think I could stay the night?"

"For sure!" Nicole was absolutely elated as she jumped out of bed, "I haven't have a movie binge night all summer! Come here, let's pick out a few, and I think we could still get a pizza or something too!"

Kenny was once again thrown by how carefree, and nonchalant Nicole was acting, "Nikki...are you actually cool with all this? After everything I just told you, you don't care?"

"Hey, they're your problems, not mine and I'm never one to judge. I don't know what you're going through, or the whole story. All I could do was make sure we were still good and then offer some advice." Nicole shrugged back, "Now, we get to forget about all that heavy shit and chill out! You want a toke?"

"Uh, no I'm good," Kenny denied as he got from the bed, "But...these movies? What do you got?" Nicole's smile was glowing as she pulled Kenny over to a shelf of DVD's which the pair looked through together, pulling out whichever one piqued their interest. As they turned back with their stack of six, Kenny looked to the girl with a warm smile, "Thanks Nicole, you rock,"

"And I have the best tits in town with the ass to match, any other obvious things you want to point out?" Nicole teased with a wink, "Let me go order us a pizza,"
