Go to University.
PE class.
Today we were supposed to take a test. My scholarship depends on the result of that test and unfortunately, it's basketball. I hate it with all my heart. For some reason my geometry brain works well only on paper, showing a real ball is a completely different thing. After some warmup, we stood in a line and each of us was given 5 throws. I was able to only miss one if I wanted to pass it with a higher grade and not lose the opportunity for a scholarship.

I was super nervous so I went to the far end of the line and watched as other girls took their turns. I could feel my anxiety growing inside as I got closer. Finally, it was my turn. I stood in front of the basket and looked at it intimidated.
- "Come on Lucy, your turn. You can do it." Couch cheered me.
I threw the ball... and it went in.
- "Good throw, one in." He said.
I prepared and threw one more... Miss.
- "Oh crap." I said.
- "Don't worry, as long as you score the rest, you are fine.
Preparation, and another throw... It went in.
- "Yes!"
- "Keep going, Lucy."
I focused on the basket and threw the ball... Another score.
- "Yey, just one more!"
I took a long breath, then held it and threw the ball... And the ball missed.
- "Oh no, no, no, no."
- "I am sorry Lucy, it's still a passing grade though."
- "But my scholarship!" I said with tears in my eyes.
- "I am really sorry, but you know the rules."
I didn't know what to do in that situation. I couldn't allow losing the scholarship.
