A bad bet with Nami

Luffy and Nami were currently in an abandoned house due to the Bugg Pirates causing havoc on this island. Nami had been chased by 3 Buggy Pirates when Luffy fell from the sky after an explosion from one of Buggy's Buggy Balls. Using this stranger to her advantage, Nami got away, but watched to her amazement that Luffy had won. Nami then offered for him to join her as a pirate thief, but...

"You're a pirate? Forget I said anything. I hate pirates."

"Oh come on, being a pirate is fun."

Nami ignored Luffy and opened up the map to the Grand Line.

"With this map, I can get to theh Grand Line," declared Nami.

'And finally get enough money to free my village,' added Nami in her thoughts.

"You're going to the Grand Line? You wouldn't happen to be a navigator, would you?"

"Are you kidding?" asked Nami. "I'm the best navigator around."

"Then join my pirate crew. We need a navigator."

"No way. I won't become a pirate," said Nami.

"Well, it's too late. I've already decided you're our new navigator, Nami."

"That's not how that works, Luffy! You're impossible. Why do you want to go to the Grand Line? Don't tell me you're after the One Piece, too?"

"That's right. My dream is to become the Pirate King!"

Nami rolled her eyes at Luffy, knowing that just about every other pirate thought the same thing, that they would become the Pirate King. It was such a shame; she thought that this Luffy person could be of use to her, but he turned out to be just another pirate. Unless...?
