On set

So, after two weeks of living at home with her sister, being openly mocked and work and having not a dime free to spend, the show began. Despite her **** ****, Lauren knew she couldn't avoid this. That judge would throw the book at her. So, Lauren arrived at the first day of filming, stomach a knot of anxiety.

Lauren pulled up to the busy filming lot. As she entered there were dozens of stagehands setting up. Lauren wandered about, feeling utterly lost. Normally she'd be so thrilled to be on a movie set, but this was the worst circumstance possible!

"Lauren Adkins?" Lauren turned to see a tall woman, probably in her early thirties, with red hair pulled back in a bun and a business suit. "I'm Marlene Grady, judge Grady's daughter and head producer on this show."

They shook hands. Lauren felt a tinge of bitterness at this woman, who now had power over her life. Her stupid father had gotten Lauren into all this!

"Nice to meet you." Lauren said through gritted teeth.

"The other contestants are over here, let me introduce you to them..." Marlene began leading Lauren away...
