Simone Jackson Interview 1

The following includes a section of transcript from an interview 3 days after Lori Allen went missing. Simone was kept away from her wife Kara, this interview occurred after Kara's own 1st interview. Present is Detective Marcia Taylor and Federal Agents Michael Franks and Michelle Hyun.

Taylor: Good evening Ms. Jackson, thank you for coming down to the station tonight voluntarily.

Jackson: This is about Lori... Isn't it? (Sniffle)

Hyun: Yes, she's been missing for 3 days, her phone appears to be off, and we can't seem to piece together where she might have gone. And we are tired of getting nowhere with anyone we speak too!

Franks: We know that you and Ms. Allen had gotten very...close over the past few months, and were hoping you could shine a light on her mental state? Maybe help us with our investigation a bit?

Jackson: I know she's been having difficulties with her marriage, her husband was never home, and I think she thought he might've been having an affair with some woman at the church...Vicky? Victoria? Veronica? I think was her name, Veronica. She would talk about how he didn't come home, and how there seemed to be a distance between them more and more each day.

Taylor: And did you console Ms. Allen regarding her marriage difficulties?

Jackson:... well I mean I was a friend she could rely on. Someone who was there as a sounding board, but I know she also had a shrink she was going to.

Franks: But were you two engaged in a more... intimate type of consoling? We know you two are very very close

Hyun: You were engaged in a sexual relationship with Ms. Allen correct? It's written all over that pretty face of yours!

Jackson: What? I would... I'm a married woman detective what on earth are you talking about!

Hyun: Cut the shit, you and Ms. Allen live similar lives, housewives who's spouses leave the house for long periods of time, it's only natural, given your orientation, that you would-

Jackson: MY ORIENTATION! Are you claiming that homosexual women are unable to commit? Am I under arrest? Because if not I would like to leave! (chair pushing out from behind table, heels on tile)

Taylor: Please... Simone I know you care for her, regardless of your relationship, I don't care about that, I just want to find Lori.

Jackson: Get your hands off me, next time you speak to me I will have my lawyer present!
