Playing pretend

Taking a moment to think it over, today was not one of the days that the gym was open. Perhaps a little make-believe would do some wonders for her mental state.

"Yeah..." Misty thought and stared down at her uniform. Feeling it up a bit more, she looked around for some empty pokeballs. Thankfully, she didn't need to look far to find some. Setting them at one end of the room, Misty headed to the other side. "Let's do this."

Running to the pokeballs, she scooped them up with relative ease. Then it's right back to where she started. Setting them down on the ground, a feeling of satisfaction came over her. Now, she need something in the way of an obstacle.

"Let's see here." Misty told herself and looked around for something to use here. Eventually settling on some books, she set them down in the way of her path. Placing the pokeballs back at the end, she returned to her starting position. "3... 2... 1!"

Charging forth, the gym leader jumped over the obstacle and scooped her prize up. Spinning around, she made quick time back to the start.

Nice as that felt, she needed to continue. But at the same time, one of her sisters were bound to come by and attempt to get her to do something for one reason or another. At the same time, this felt so good. A little more pretend wouldn't harm anyone.
