Adora Escapes / Bad First Impressions

For years, Adora had been waiting to take the fight to the Rebellion. Now that dream had come back to bite her in the butt as the rebels surrounded her. She tried to explain the situation while using her sword to keep them at a safe distance but they weren't having it. The sound of metal sliding out of a leather sheath directed her attention to a guard drawing a sword on her. Giving Adora just seconds to block it in time and shove the guard away. A large tauren woman charged at her next and Adora dove out of the way. Causing her opponent to smash through a pile of barrels.

Adora sliced through a tent and ran through to escape her pursuers. Their angered shouting took her mind off of her hunger for the moment but only because the mob was gaining on her. Adora looked over her shoulder to see how close they were but when turned her head back, she found herself at the edge of a small cliff. She tried to regain her balance but ended up plummeting into the shallow waters below. Fortunately, it was a relatively short fall and didn't result in anything broken. Just some damp clothes.

An arrow whizzed past her face reminding Adora that she was still within range of the mob. She picked herself up and treaded upstream. The upset shouting of the mob died down and were replaced with the trickling of river water and animal calls. Adora scooped a handful of river water to quench her thirst and then climbed out of the river bed. She took cover behind a fallen log and waited to make sure that no one was following her. Once the silence assured her she wasn't being pursued, Adora chastised herself. "Stupid! You just had to go out there. Even after Bow warned you about theUURRp!"

Adora covered her mouth and wondered where that came from. Normally, she was good at watching her manners but lately she's been anything but normal. She's gotten hungrier, gassier, and thinking strange thoughts about her new friends ever since she found this sword. Speaking of, the stone on it glowed again as if it were impatiently expecting something from Adora. "What do you want from me now? Haven't I done enough for you?" Adora tried to summon She-ra again but to no avail. It was beginning to look like she'd never be able to turn back into that battle-ready blob.

But then, she smelled something. Something delicious. Curious, she followed the attractive aroma deeper into the woods despite the numerous red flags this raised.

What does she come across?
