Day 4

You wake up to the sound of the door unlocking. You jump up and look over to see some soldiers walk in.

"It's time for breakfast."

You stretch and jump out of bed while everyone else starts waking up. You all follow the soldier down to the cafeteria for this building. The second you walk through the door you almost recoil at the sight. There's well over 100 people in here! Wasn't this place empty last night? How many people are still finding their way here...

You look around frantically for anyone that could be infected, despite this place seeming safe enough you can't help but stay on edge. Predictably you don't see anyone standing out, if anything Anita looks more like a bimbo than anyone in here.

Everyone grabs a tray and sits down at an empty table. You loosen up a bit and start chatting with Cammie and Chloe as they scarf down their food. Anita still seems on edge and won't talk with you though.

"So... What do you think Alexis is doing?" Chloe asks.

You have no earthly idea...

You all finish up breakfast and head back to your room. While you're on your way back you look out a window and see even more people coming in. This place is going to be packed fast.

A couple hours have passed and you and Cammie and Chloe got a board game from one of the guards. You're trying to figure out the rules to it when Anita interrupts. "I'm leaving for a bit, gonna get some fresh air."

You turn to her in confusion. "How? Are they letting us out yet?"

"No, but I'll be fine."

You don't like it but you also know you can't really stop her, so you let her go. Worst case scenario she gets sent back here.- - - - - -

Anita turns and walks out of the room, looking down the halls she doesn't see anybody. Now's her chance. She darts down the hall and towards the front door to this place. Just as she's about to turn the corner she hears voices coming from the hall. "Shit." She turns around and ducks into a nearby room.

Luckily the room she ducks into is empty. It looks like a room for more people to stay in soon.

Anita waits for the soldiers to pass before leaving the room and heading to the exit. She's about to walk out when she sees a camera watching it. She really doesn't want that to see her, so instead of walking out she just goes straight past the door. Looks like she'll need a different way out.

On her way down another hall she sees another large group of people being let in. This place is just asking to collapse...

She catches up to the group and blends in until she sees an opening, there's a guard leaving out a side door. She quickly runs into another nearby room and waits. If she's right about this, the guard will come back in, it just seemed like they were on break.

And sure enough, a few minutes later the guard enters back in, walking right past Anita and down the hall. She quickly jumps out of the room and catches the door before it closes and heads out.

She sneaks around the building until she's close enough to the chaos of people that's outside. Perfect, no way she'll look out of place here, everyone has to have their hands full.
