Chapter 3 by Grimm05
Who?
Inquisitor
Hermione almost leapt back in fear as she saw a young man come around the corner, his distinctive green and silver tie denoting him as a member of House Slytherin while the distinctive badge of the Inquisitor Squad was on full display.
Naturally the brightest witch was on the defensive as she knew what the Inquisitors were capable of and immediately reached for her wand.
Smirking with a look of arrogance written on his face the Slytherin simply approached the cautious female with a book in hand. His intentions obvious as he walked pass the bushy haired student and placed the book on the shelf, causing Hermione to lower her guard as she knew full well who the man was.
Victor Flint, younger brother of Marcus Flint and one of the brighter students of House Slytherin who did not need the prestige or the wealth that came from his family to achieve. Unlike his brother Marcus who was well known as quite the cheater during his time as Quidditch Captain for House Slytherin.
In fact, Victor looked far better than his older brother, not that Hermione would ever admit to such a thing, and he certainly possessed a greater common sense as well.
Still, Hermione was not about to lower her guard as the man was within arm’s reach of the cautious witch. Enough so that Hermione could smell the cologne he was using and found the scent to be admittedly enjoyable. Again, not something she would admit but then again, a part of her could not help but notice that the man was fit and even muscular when compared to several of her fellow classmates. No doubt a result of the man’s Quidditch Training, not that it mattered of course as Delores Umbridge canceled the sport this year.
Mesmerized by the man’s body Victor decided to strike but not in a physical way or even in an explosive manner that she expected from the likes of Draco Malfoy.
Instead, he simply spoke with a confident tone of voice- “I must say hiding that jinx from your fellow students was very clever Miss Granger.” He said, causing the witch to freeze.
Turning to face her Hermione realized the peril she was in and quickly attempted to draw her wand before Victor could react. It was then Hermione realized her mistake in allowing the Slytherin to come close as most wizards and witches draw their wands in a cross-draw motion. Up close this was a terrible position as it allowed Victor to quickly knock the wand away and use his superior speed to cover Miss Granger’s mouth with one hand.
Using his free hand Victor pushed Hermione towards the bookcase, effectively pinning her back against the ancient books she so loved. All the while she could not help but notice Victor’s hand was on her breasts, causing the bright witch to blush as the man came closer, his hot breath inches from her face as the weight of his body effectively left her trapped.
“Not very smart of you Miss Granger.” He whispered, his hand tightening against her mouth while using his free arm to apply pressure to the witch’s abdomen.
“Witches and Wizards are terrible at close quarters as I’m sure Draco remembers when you punched him.” He whispered, causing the bright witch a moment of laughter as she remembered punching the ferret in the face years ago.
“Still” The man continued, “I believe the pressing matter is your little army gathered on the seventh floor and why we haven’t thought to inform the others yet.”
The look of shock was written in Hermione’s eyes as she was certain that no one in the group could ever expose Dumbledore’s Army without being exposed.

Yet the man’s smirk said it all as he began to explain the situation to the brightest witch knowing that she was trapped.
“You’re not nearly as clever as you might think Miss Granger. Your little hex doesn’t protect your little study group from everything. In fact, you can thank your hex for causing this situation in the first place.” He gloated, applying additional pressure into her abdomen.
“But lucky for you we don’t want your little group to be exposed. At least not without reason.” He explained, hinting his plans to the brilliant witch.
“So, I’m going to give you two options- I let you go and we can negotiate for our silence or you can call for help and my compatriot will report everything to Professor Umbridge.” What’s it going to be?
What does she choose?
